Each coach has its own butler on call 24 hours to provide guests with whatever they need quickly and efficiently. They take pride in serving you and ensuring that your stay is as comfortable as it is memorable.

DISABLED PASSENGERS
Our railway carriages are unfortunately not designed to accommodate wheelchair-bound passengers. Please let us know in advance if you have any special requirements.

Adaptors Voltage on the Indian Maharaja is 110 volts. International adaptors are available and you are welcome to keep them with you for the duration of the journey.

SPA & GYM
Treat yourself at our on-board spa, where you can choose from a selection of relaxing, rejuvenating treatments, including India’s famous Ayurvedic massages, provided by our highly trained team of therapists. Enjoy the steam room after a workout at the well-equipped gym.

VISITING PLACES OF INTEREST
Make sure to pack a comfortable pair of walking shoes. We recommend a moderate degree of physical fitness to make the most of our excursions on foot.

TOUR GUIDES
Well-qualified, English-speaking guides are provided on all Indian Maharaja sightseeing excursions, giving invaluable insights into the places you visit. We can also arrange individual guides at select journey stops, subject to availability and at an extra cost. If you would like a personal guide, do inform us when you book.

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
Professional medical facilities are not available on board the train. Our staff has requisite first-aid training and medicines for any basic ailments. In rare cases where a doctor or hospital is required the Indian Maharaja has contacts at each railroad station enabling any ill passenger to receive professional medical attention.

LAUNDRY
A limited laundry service is available at select destinations. Your butler will assist you with your laundry needs.

BUSINESS CENTRE
The Indian Maharaja has a business centre complete with Internet, PCs, printer, scan, Xerox and telephones.

TELEPHONE CALLS
Your cabin has a telephone, and the operator can assist you to make calls. Please note that there will be additional cost for international calls.

ON-BOARD SAFE
All cabins are equipped with a personal safe for your valuables. While every precaution is taken, we cannot be held liable for any valuables that you may lose during the journey.
